A redecoration of a formal living room, designed to bring a more contemporary edge to the home’s existing character. We developed a scheme blending French Provincial influences with modern elements, introducing new furniture, artwork, lighting, rugs and accessories while considering the room’s existing fireplace and built-in shelving. Careful spatial planning created distinct areas for relaxing and working, resulting in a layered, elegant room that feels considered without becoming overly formal.
